How to Increase weight gain
Having tried a number of ways to gain weight it seems this mission is impossible for me, you may simply say eat more but that solution does not work for me. I am the type of person that likes to eat little and often, a professional at snacking! seeing a large amount of food on my plate simply fills me up before eating it!

There are a few things that have been tried by me in order to gain weight quickly. I tried the 9 meal a day diet but this became too expensive and there was not enough time in the day to consume such an amount, this weight gain diet failed in the end.
Another few weight gain plans tested were high calorie breakfast and snacking, an omlette and doughnut a day, although this worked in increasing the weight the intake made me irritable and extremely tired therefore it was bad for my health and cholesterol. The pie a day with potato did work but then I just felt bloated by the end and tired again so this weight gain plan was crossed off the list.
My preference is not to eat enormous amounts to gain weight, I once watched a documentary called Super Size Me where Morgan Spurlock ate McDonald’s every day to increase weight and the consequence of eating this junk food was astonishing, the weight increased but in a bad way having physical and psychological problems. In the 30 day experiment we saw Morgan Spurlock’s weight increase by 24½ lbs. (11.1 kg) but with consequences of increased mood swings, liver problems and sexual dysfunction and it then took him 14 months to recover and lose the weight. This is a good example of how increasing weight in the wrong way can dramatically affect your well being in all aspects of your life. Following this documentary I know all I want to do is gain weight in a healthy way even if it takes me longer to do, but how can this be done?
The new question I am asking myself and wanting to know the answer to is what healthy weight gain foods are going to pile on the pounds, I am looking for the best healthy weight gain diet so feel free to let me know what it is.
A healthy weight gain diet
A healthy weight gain diet should always include fruits and vegetables, my diet will always consist of this even if this is low in calories as it has major health benefits.
If you are going to have a healthy weight gain diet you must include meats as these are strong weight gain foods but be careful which meats you consume as some can cause digestive problems and a bloated gut. The best healthy weight gain meat is lean meats and fish, chicken and raw fish like salmon are the best choices. I do love a bit of steak which is good for weight gain but too much of this will cause digestion problems as red meats are much fattier so limit the amount of red meat you consume.
Fresh banana smoothies or milkshakes are always good for weight gain, added with some yogurt and oats this can strengthen your weight gain plan but again be careful with how much you have as this can cause digestion problems as well. The calcium is a good source of protein but diary products are known to be bad for the body in large amounts as it causes bloating, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, which are often linked to IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).
There are many things that can provoke indigestion and alcohol is one of the main contributors to unhealthy living, although it piles on weight this source of weight gain is wrong in many ways, causing acid reflux and heartburn. Excessive drinking will burn the stomach lining, irritating the digestive tract so moderate your drinking pattern. Healthy drinking means only consuming 2 alcoholic drinks a day and even that should not be every day but every other day, ideally once or twice a week.
